Completing the Executive Summary Section of Start Up Business Plans
The Executive Summary should be the first section anyone would see in your completed start up business plans. But I recommend doing this section last. Since this section summarizes the fundamentals of your business. You'll need to complete the rest of your business plan in order to obtain some of the information needed here.

What is a Executive Summary
The Executive Summary is basically a brief description of your business. Include the following information:- The business name, mailing, and physical address information. Include the phone number if you already have one.
- State what type of business. Retail, service, manufacturing.
- Indicate what industry. Real estate, marketing.
- Give a brief description of your products and/or services.
- Provide the owners names. Include the
business entity
information.
- Briefly describe where you see your industry going in the future.
- How and why this business will be successful.
- What makes your business unique. Describe your niche'.
- How will the business be started. New Startup, purchase existing business, or expanding your current business.
- What is your experience in this business? If you have a current resume, and reference it here.
- If you lack specific experience the business needs, detail how you plan to gain it. By training, apprenticeship, working with partners who have experience or outsourcing.
