No matter how exciting your business idea is, without the right people in the right places your business will fail. Management has to have the necessary experience to run your business and maximize the talents of your team members.

Your team might include owner, investors, board of directors, key employees, or almost anyone who will have a significant impact on your business.

Begin with an objective assessment of the business’s requirements and the backgrounds of key players. Include a statement as to how employees will be selected, trained, and compensated.

* What will management be doing? Day to day operations and behind the scenes. Address the level of customer support that you provide.

* The skills, talents, education, and experience they possess. Be sure to include good leadership and marketing skills.

* Record of success. Accomplishments.

* How their personality makes them effective team members. Include their strengths and ways to compensate for any weaknesses.

* How to direct and motivate employees effectively.

* What responsibilities will be defined or have flexibility.


Day to Day Operations

Who will actually run the business? How will decisions be made? What are the lines of authority? How much input will employees have when setting policies and goals? Who can be relied upon for advise and insight when needed?

Basically, you want to explain what you and/or your employees going to be doing on a daily basis from the time you open up to time you close. Should be a detailed and in-depth. Include how much work you can handle. The steps for order request to fulfillment.
