To add AdSense, you must apply and get approval for your website from Google . You only have to apply to Google once so if you decide to add start another website or add a blog, you can add AdSense right from the start since you already have an account.

Before applying, you should have at least 25-50 visitors per day and have no more than a couple of affiliate links, if any at all on your website.

AdSense prefers content rich websites. So if AdSense determines that you site is nothing more than an advertisement, you can be turned down. After you receive approval, you can than add your affiliate programs any of your websites or blogs as long as they stay within Google's guidelines.

When Not to Use

There are times when AdSense may not make sense for your business.Such as:

Will the image of running adds hurt your business?
Is your target market sensitive?
Are your selling high end items or services?

In these cases, AdSense may not be worthwhile for you.

What If You Change Your Mind?

There is no contract required to participate in the AdSense program. It costs you nothing to sign up.

You simply remove the code from your website or a particular page when ever you choose to or you can cancel your AdSense account whenever you want.

Tracking

The best part about AdSense is you can track how AdSense is working on each page and how each add unit is working. You can easily test to see if you use different add units or move the adds to a different section of your page, how they do.

Keep Google Happy

Make sure you adhere to Googles policies. or you could loose your AdSense account permanently. Encouraging others to click on your adds, providing adult content, or clicking on your own adds, will cause you loose your account.
